Mindfulness In Aikido

Mindfulness and wellbeing lie at the heart of Aikido. Aikido requires the mind to be focussed in the here-and-now in harmony with the movement of the body to blend with an attack. Practicing Shoshin, Fudoshin, Mushin, and Zanshin in Aikido has a cleansing, peaceful and anchoring effect on the mind.
